Hello Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, Kwanza, Yule, Solstice. Whatever your beliefs or non-beliefs are, you are all welcome here! We had a nice dinner eating the traditional Tamales and Ponche. Ponche is a red drink filled with fruits like guava, cane sugar, and prunes. I have been drinking this on Christmas Eve and Day ever since I can remember and it is a nice tradition to uphold.

Tonight we will be celebrating the New Year at home with the family and it feels just right. Spending my time with the people who have supported and pushed me upwards all year. I have realized this past year how important it is to surround yourself with likeminded people and those who will have your back no matter what.

This New Year 2019, I wish you all to succeed in whatever endeavor you are pursuing. I hope for all of you to have success in your careers, love life, and relationships. To me there is nothing more beautiful than wishing others well and wishing them success.

“I’m not interested in competing with anyone. I hope we all make it!”

I believe that when one of us makes it, we all make it! So this year surround yourself with those who will see your success as their own and vice versa. We all need encouragement!

There is no reason to be jealous or sad, that only comes when you are comparing yourself to others. Make it a point on this New Year to accept yourself at whatever place you are and know that this too shall pass. Imagine yourself where you want to be and take the steps to get there.

Don’t get too caught up in what society tells you: should of, could of, would of are the words that should be removed from your vocabulary.

In this New Year make the commitment to be a better version of 2018!

I hope you all have a wonderful time and make sure not to drink and drive!
